About Life of Pi on Broadway

Based on one of the best-loved works of fiction – winner of the Man Booker Prize, selling over fifteen million copies worldwide – LIFE OF PI is a breath-taking new theatrical adaptation of an epic journey of endurance and hope.

After a cargo ship sinks in the middle of the vast Pacific Ocean, a sixteen-year-old boy name Pi is stranded on a lifeboat with four other survivors – a hyena, a zebra, an orangutan, and a 450-pound Royal Bengal tiger. Time is against them, nature is harsh, who will survive?

Man is the most dangerous in the zoo

See it if Puppetry, puppeteers, sets, lighting, Hiran Abeysekera and Richard Parker. Struggle for survival.

Don’t see it if Beautiful storytelling, reminded me of the Kite Runner’s Broadway staging at times. Go!

See it if The lead, the puppets, the set & projections are incredible. Simply magical on the surface, absorbing, meaningful & riveting x 130M.

Don’t see it if Notxyng kids due2some animal behaviors,norxanyone else who didn't like the source material,tho the entire audience seemed 2b excited by the*

See it if Wonderful acting,special effects, puppetry and set design made for an enjoyable night at the theatre.

Don’t see it if The only negative was at times was difficult to hear all the dialog especially the main actor. Besides that I would highly recommend seeing

Riveting, Great staging, Great acting, Entertaining, Absorbing

See it if Strong acting & staging. I preferred Act I over Act II. The animal puppetry was very believable.

Don’t see it if If you prefer a comedy or musical then skip this one.
